An automatic Windows Update that was posted in mid-July has prevented the VBScript control used by VirtualPlant Controllers from running within Office 365. This behavior is experienced when running a VirtualPlant Parametric Study. The error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" will appear when attempting to run the Parametric Study as shown in Figure 1.

Upgrade EtaPRO Server and Client to 10.4.7 - code has been updated to resolve this issue.
For whatever reason, ff you are not able to upgrade EtaPRO at this time, the following steps may be taken:
1. Office 365 can be rolled back to undo the update.
2. A registry patch can be applied that will disable the new security feature. EtaPRO Administrators are cautioned with regards to Registry editing, especially without a backup. Many company IT policies will prevent or prohibit this. EtaPRO Administrators familiar or confident with Registry editing can follow the details found here.
