The error is most likely derived from a User Defined Formula in which a function is attempting to retrieve a value for a tag that does not exist on the selected historian.

In this example, the error message is caused by an incorrectly configured function and arguments:

The user should confirm that a corresponding historian tag exists for the selected data point. To avoid other pitfalls, the user should also select a function that specifies a unit designation, and defines the historian name as a function argument.
